And this week - well, let's just say I haven't really made any 'pretty food'. I haven't been in the mood.
It has, fortunately, helped out with the weight loss.
So my pictures of food...well, they're maybe not that appetizing. Let's just call this photo exercise a lower middle class version of MTV Cribs. You know how they always show the contents of the fridge and kitchen? Yeah. No Cristal Here. Just Crystal Light.
Exhibit 1: I really need to clean out my fridge. I have way too many science experiments going on for my taste.

Exhibit 2: And I need to clean out my freezer. Stuff falls out on my husband every time he opens the door. Resulting in a few swears. Just a few.

Exhibit 3: At least my canned goods look nice. But you don't get to see the uncropped version of this photo. It's not pretty.

I almost did the exact same post! And then I realized how embarrassed I'd be showing my cabinets and fridge. I don't think a crop of my cabinet would turn out so well! Considering what could be in your fridge, that doesn't look too bad! Love the tea shot!
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! And where's the beer?! ;o)
ReplyDeleteApril, the beer is in the fridge DOOR. Duh.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love the picture of the tea!
ReplyDeleteOther than that, you are one brave woman!
Love that tea shot! And my fridge looks the same!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like my fridge! Great Captures.
ReplyDeleteThose wafffles look yummy this early in the morning!
ReplyDeleteBRILLIANT! I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy sink looks the same way. Dishes are the worst. They taunt my every time I go in the freakin' kitchen. The tea shot is especially lovely!
ReplyDeleteomg! those pictures made me laugh out loud. I need to show my hubby so he can get off my case about ours. Mine looks bare compared to yours! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the tea photo. !
ReplyDeleteCreative idea! And sihes are always more approachable after a nice cup of tea-- or a beer from your fridge door. works well too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
This cracked me up. Our refrigerator & freezer are the same way. We have to cram everything in. I need one of those giant industrial sized fridges.
ReplyDeleteHmm, that sounds about right...our apartment fridge is overflowing with old stuff we don't want to throw away and we are currently trying to brake the record for most dishes stacked in the sink. That's why my roommate and I like to go to other people's houses for dinner :)
ReplyDeleteDoing the dishes are an effing bitch, for real. Especially when I do them 3+ times a day- what is wrong with me?
ReplyDeleteI love how the mayo is propping up the fallen shelf- awesome.
Your fridge is definitely stocked!
ReplyDeleteNow that was fun! I loved touring your kitchen. It was very interesting and your photos did a great job of telling the whole story. What a great 'food' post!
ReplyDeleteNow that was fun! I loved touring your kitchen. It was very interesting and your photos did a great job of telling the whole story. What a great 'food' post! This was my comment not Brian's. Somehow is name came up in the identity section and I didn't notice in time. sorry.
ReplyDeleteMy fridge is a mess too! Have you tried putting Go-gurt in the freezer? Mmmm, I love tea, nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteI am not playing this week because food is way too hard to photograph.
The picture of tea is great, seriously.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one with a fridge and freezer like that. Love the shot of the tea...I didn't even think to do something like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile!
ReplyDeleteWHEN did you have time to sneak into my house and take those photos? Hooker.
ReplyDeleteI love you so much!! I hate doing dishes, too. So much that I'm thinking of feeding my kids straight off the table and making only things they can eat with their fingers.
