Most days.
G was completely taken with this sign - brushing his chubby fingers across the letters. And singing 'ABCD' ... that's all he knows, the first four letters. And they're hardly distinguishable - BUT I'M HIS MAMA AND I KNOW HE'S A GENIUS AND HE'S SINGING HIS ABC'S AT 15 MONTHS.

And finally, not so cool letters, especially for these poor people. Their fence backs up onto our neighborhood park. My guess? A herd of lame middle schoolers getting up to no good. Whatever happened to toilet papering and other semi harmless tomfoolery? Shoot...

Great captures.
ReplyDeleteoh those meanies on that fence!
ReplyDeleteSucks to be the house with the effed up fence. I hate when middle school punks trash something that doesn't belong to them. Or who knows, maybe it was a pack of preschoolers gone bad : ).
ReplyDeleteTalk about your polar opposite pictures! Sweetness and innocence and then violation and sneaky.
ReplyDeleteUm hmm ... I most definitely agree that your son is a genius! ABC's at 15 months?? Very impressive little man you have there!!
ReplyDeleteI think one of my favourite things is listening to your children sing to themselves while they explore or entertain themselves. It is so incredible endearing and warms my heart.
Great pictures!
So sweet! I love the captures of your little guy! And I'm impressed too that he can sing part of the alphabet. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Such a cute wee one - and great he can already sing his letters.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of your son and the letters is so sweet. Very sad about the fence...
ReplyDeleteGreat letter captures! Your son is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteHow awful for the people in that house! I love the photos of your son.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a new fence. Not cool.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet about your little guy... : )
The picture of your son really exploring and studying the letters is perfect! What a great take on letters!
ReplyDeleteSo cute ... I love how he's totally studying those letters. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat choices-- man what a contrast though! Crazy to think that the teenagers who did the vandalism were little wee ones tracing letters not all that long ago. Just sad.
ReplyDeleteI really love your contrasting shots. Speaks volumes.
Great post and pics! Darn those punks.
ReplyDeleteAWE, he does look like he loves the sign! How cute.
ReplyDeletegrrr. on the gaffiti.
Great shots though I feel bad about the fence!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I especially like the last one.
ReplyDeleteugh, those kind of letters do suck. But your pictures do not!
ReplyDeleteOur fence was tagged right after we moved into the place (not here, you know where...). Lovely. And, of course he's a genius! Have you met his mother?
ReplyDeleteAndrea, gotta love L-Wood. HA.
ReplyDeleteyeah, unless it was their kids that tagged the fence :O), in our town the city set aside one wall that the students can tag and paint on all they want to. it has really relieved the problem in the rest of the town and it's amazing how creative they can be! your little boy is a darling! and he's into letters already :O) great post! thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeletei have my you capture post up now, so come on by The Shadow of the Cross and check it out. i'd love to have you visit :O).
Great captures! And, yes, talk about polar opposites!
ReplyDeleteI love your little guy at the fence. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteI was actually on the hunt for some graffiti for this week's challenge, but wasn't able to find any. I do agree, though, it'd be pretty lousy to be the owners of that fence.
At any rate, great shots!
I love the ones with your little guy. But then again I'm a sucker for cute kids. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour son is so cute, and I'm impressed that he's signing his letters already! How wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's unfortunate that kids can't find another creative outlet. What a pain for the people who's fence was tagged.
